HELP WITH EATING DISORDERS LONDON

Heal your Relationship with Food

I empower individuals who struggle with their relationship with food to be at peace with food and their bodies so that they can shift from surviving to thriving and live life to the fullest.

Bring yourself back into harmony

Living with disordered eating or an eating disorder can feel lonely & overwhelming.

You may be feeling out of control, anxious, ashamed, guilty and sometimes also in real physical pain.

But it doesn't have to be this way...

You deserve to lead a life of balance where you can socialise with ease and feel comfortable and confident in your skin - I am here to support and motivate you in making this your reality.

3 month is the optimal time needed for new habits to be embedded and all programmes are designed with this in mind. This will also ensure you see results and work towards your goals without feeling overwhelmed.

I use a combination of nutritional therapy with coaching, psychological and behavioural interventions specific to your needs to facilitate change and help you overcome any barriers you might experience with ease.

This 3-Month Programme employs a comprehensive and holistic 360-degree approach, combining nutrition and psychological interventions to address issues related to the relationship with food and disordered eating. It is designed to address both the physical/nutritional and psychological factors contributing to disordered eating patterns. This approach goes beyond superficial solutions, offering targeted strategies to address root causes and promote lasting change, ultimately nurturing a greater sense of balance and harmony in one’s life while supporting overall well-being.

The programme commences with an assessment of current eating habits, nutritional status, complete medical history, and psychological factors such as anxiety, depression, body image issues, and self-esteem. Based on this assessment, a personalised plan is developed that includes both nutrition and psychological interventions.

The nutrition component of the programme targets potential nutrient deficiencies and any co-existing health concerns (e.g., digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, anxiety, etc.), with functional test recommendations as required. Additionally, the programme provides crucial information about nutrition and its impact on the body, brain chemistry, hunger, and satiety.

The psychological interventions may incorporate elements of cognitive-behavioural therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behavioural Therapy, coaching tools, and mindfulness-based practices to address emotional eating and other psychological factors that can influence eating habits and overall health. These therapies may involve acquiring coping skills to manage triggers, challenging negative thought patterns, and developing health-promoting coping strategies."
